In Character Rules

All members must abide by these rules and respect their enforcement across the boards. Offenders will be dealt with promptly by the administrators of the site and will be issued punishment, as seen fitting for their infringement, by said administrators – there will be no argument over their response, the admins’ words are final. (Although if you feel you have been unfairly treated by an admin, or are unsure why you have been warned, do feel free to personal message [PM] the admin who dealt with you for a fuller explanation. Flaming will be ignored however.)

i. All IC posts are to be a minimum of 300 words, a reachable and realistic target – although more is always welcome, but please keep the waffling to a minimum.

ii. Posts are to be made in past tense (“was” instead of “is”; “went” instead of “going”; etcetera...) and in third person (“He” instead of “I”; “their” instead of “our”; etcetera...).

iii. Godmoding and powerplaying are not to be utilized within the IC boards. First offences will receive a warning PM, if this is ignored the offending user may be removed from the board and their character released for general adoption again.

iv. Please try to keep OoC comments to a minimum in the IC boards. If they are required in the thread, make them obviously different from the rest of your post that is In Character (whether italicized, aligned differently, a different colour, etcetera...)

v. Posts are to be made in colours that don’t clash too harshly with the background and are easily readable (i.e. not too light or too dark, dependant on background) and formatting must be sensible and easy to understand.

If you come across anyone breaking any of the above rules, please PM an administrator – although we are awesome and spend an inordinate amount of our time on the site, we cannot be everywhere at once and do, on occasion, miss things.

Also, if there are any queries, anything that you think has been missed out, a particularly funny joke you heard that you’d like to share, do feel free to PM an admin and we’ll get right on it.
